I have plenty of projects. Here's a log of ones that are currently fairly active. I've listed links to their groups and things, mostly for my own reference but also for anyone else who wants to know what i'm up to or hunt down one of my projects. Check out the Backburner for projects that are just trickling along, waiting for their time to shine, and Previous projects for ones I've passed on, one way or another.
***this page definitely needs an update, it doesn't reflect the current state of things as half these projects are not currently active and/or I'm not working with them anymore.

AUWU Reading Group
A reading group to read Bullshit Jobs by David Graeber. 2020.
Loosely running through the NSW branch of the Australian Unemployed Workers Union - or at least the point of it was to promote education and political analysis within the union. We'll see if the union embraces it beyond 'hey that's a good idea', but a bunch of us will start reading anyway. After all, everything is in disarray for lockdown, but many of us have more time to read than usual!

AUWU Greater Sydney Branch
In 2020 I've been involved in starting up the Greater Sydney branch of the The Australian Unemployed Workers Union. The first thing we did was a protest outside the Indue offices in Chatswood, as well as the local Centrelink and Max Employment. I'm now treasurer because we needed to have one and I know how to open a bank account.
Another Autism
Social/support group for women's style autism, figuring out what that even is. Started in 2020.

Archive of the Australian Student Movement
Official title TBD. I have archives of Macquarie University Students' Council, Kuringgai Campus Students' Association and various other groups. We are working to properly archive hard copies, as well as digitising them and making them accessible. We need to secure the history of this important movement and its groups and actions over time, so that each new generation of activists has something on which to build their imagination of what is possible.
It's going very slow, but there are a couple of people on board, so it's not just a thing in my head! Still, we need more to really hike it up everyone's priority list!

Repair Cafe
I've volunteered at the Repair Cafe in Lane Cove since January 2019. I'm usually on the shoes and glues table, which really spends much of its time on zips and umbrellas!
I'm hoping to eventually start a Ryde branch, but that is definitely on the backburner. I've set a boundary (wow!) - I'm not going ahead with it without at least one collaborator. Volunteers and visitors are great, but they're not all you need.

Atheist Choir Sydney
I started a choir and it will never sing carols! We currently meet 6pm on the second and fourth Monday of each month. We started out at UTS in 2014, moved to St Helens Community Centre in Glebe, and now meet in members' homes.

Primary Ethics
You should do it too!
Sydney Queer Atheists (SQA)
- I have been running SQA since 2009, when it split from being a section of Sydney Atheists. We have run a Mardi Gras float every year 2008-2017, plus 2019. At some points we have also had meetings and events unrelated to Mardi Gras.

Robots and Dinosaurs
I'm enjoying participating in this lovely space but keeping away from the organising. However I undertook to contribute to the blog, and I really should do more of that, so here it is to remind me! I also have plans to run workshops one day.
